Helen Brownie provides a broad depth of knowledge operating within the highly competitive FMCG categories, across diverse channels of distribution i.e. Grocery, Pharmacy, Health Food and Department Stores. Helen offers a well rounded knowledge and experience base gained via the management of many marketing departments and teams, overseeing the construction of many feasibility studies, preparation of subsequent marketing plans and product launches.

Helen holds a Bachelor of Business Degree (Marketing Major) and has held both senior Sales and Marketing positions during the past 20 years. Her most recent position being Managing Director for Ultraceuticals Pty Ltd (Australian Skincare Company) whereby Helen was responsible for the establishment of this Brand in DJs Department Store, gaining international distribution and generally taking the brand to new heights. She had full financial responsibility and managed her team of six Direct Reports across all Disciplines including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales/Education, HR and Technical/R&D.

Prior to Ultraceuticals, Helen worked with Revlon Australasia responsible for Almay Cosmetics, UII (Prestige), Beauty Care and Revlon Fragrances for Revlon Australia Pty. Ltd. During this time Helen managed the launch of new products into categories such as Hair Colour, Deodorants, Haircare, Skin Care, Cosmetics and Fragrances. Managing a team of seven, she was responsible for bottom line profit, strategic direction and staff development.

Helen commenced her career with Johnson & Johnson as a Sales Representative and progressed through the ranks attaining the level of Product Manager working on their key Feminine Hygiene Category. Upon leaving J&J Helen commenced with Cenovis Pty Ltd (Australian Health Company) in the role of Marketing Manager and bought with her a disciplined approach, energetic drive and enthusiasm which greatly contributed to the enormous growth of the organisation.
